“So do not follow the infidels, and strive against them with it (the Qur’an) a strenuous strife”

LECTURE 11: CALL TO REFLECTION

The Quran says people who worship their desire are worse than cattle. In the absence of “intellect” in cattle, they do not have the capacity to grow and progress.

LECTURE 10: WORSHIPING ONE’S DESIRES

They do not overtly worship idols, but actually worship their desires and place idols in front of them as a smoke screen so that it appears that they worshiping the idols.

LECTURE 7: THE CURSE OF KEEPING BAD COMPANY

The background to these verses were that there were 2 friends called Uqbah and Ubay who lived at the time of the Prophet (sawa) but they were not Muslim.

In continuation of the root cause of the bad attitude of the non believers and mushrikeen, we saw that the main problem is that these people don’t like the concept of accountability.
