The background to these verses were that there were 2 friends called Uqbah and Ubay who lived at the time of the Prophet (sawa) but they were not Muslim.
In the previous lectures we discussed that the opponents of Prophet Muhammad (sawa)’s primary reason for opposing him was that they denied the Reality of the Hereafter
In continuation of the root cause of the bad attitude of the non believers and mushrikeen, we saw that the main problem is that these people don’t like the concept of accountability.
And they say: ‘What sort of a Messenger is this that he eats food and he walks about in the markets? Why has not an angel been sent down to him, to be a warner with him
Yet they have taken gods, besides Him, gods that do not create anything while they are themselves created
Blessed is He Who sent down the Furqan (The Distinction of right and wrong) upon His servant, that he may be a Warner to the worlds
Whoever recites Surah Furqaan will be raised in the hereafter in the condition of being a believer in the hereafter and a believer in the fact that Allah will raise people who are in their grave.
After the news of the whereabouts of Prophet Yusuf (a.s) was made known, in line with his further request, the whole family immediately prepared themselves to travel to Egypt to meet him.
As the brothers of Prophet Yusuf (a.s) were travelling back to Qan’aan to inform their father that they actually found Prophet Yusuf (a.s) after they were asked to look for him
