LECTURE 22: PROPHET YUSUF (a.s) REVEALS HIS IDENTITY

When Prophet Yusuf (a.s)’s plan to keep his brother back started to materialise, his other brothers became very stressed while Prophet Yusuf (a.s) and Bienyamin were very happy.
After having entered Egypt from the various gates as advised by Prophet Ya’koob (a.s), the following verses narrate the second encounter that the brothers of Prophet Yusuf (a.s) has with him.
After the brothers of Prophet Yusuf (a.s) returned home with the food supplies they obtained from Egypt, they shared it with their father.
Once Prophet Yusuf (a.s) was appointed as Minister of Finance and became established in this position, seven years of rain and good times came and passed very quickly.
After Prophet Yusuf (a.s) was exonerated of having committed any crime, the king ordered that he should be released from prison.

While Prophet Yusuf (a.s) spent an extended stay in prison, time passed and his interpretation of the dreams of his two prison inmates came true.
After having given the prison inmates a comprehensive lesson in Tauheed, Prophet Yusuf (a.s) interpreted their dreams for them.
After all the efforts of the women to pressurize him to commit sin, everyone realized that they will not be successful.
