The Quran speaks about the philosophy and need for Dua in numerous places and narrates the Duas of Prophets and the Pious which start with the call of “Our Lord.”

The Servants of Rahman never give false testimony because it is a major sin and is basically tuhma which means accusation. In a court of law you take an oath

And those who do not call with Allah any other god, and do not slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except for just cause, nor commit fornication,

This verse is speaking about an attribute of the Servants of Rahman relating to “infaaq”. This is generally translated as “spending”.

Now, this expression of Ibadur Rahman, is asking from Almighty Allah (SWT) for refuge from Jahannam. Remember what we discussed earlier,

Again by showing a particular approach and behaviour as in the first part of the verse, they are said to not get embroiled in arguments with ignorant people.
