Celebrating the Historical Meeting between His Grace Pope Francis & Grand Ayatollah Sistani

Salamun Alaykum,
I trust that this letter finds you in the best of health by the Grace of the Almighty.
The abovementioned Platform was launched on 27 April 2021 against the backdrop of the historic meeting between Pope Francis and Ayatollah Sistani in Najaf, Iraq.
The first two engagements of this Platform focused on Theological matters which included reflecting on the Document of Human Fraternity.
The Third meeting of this Platform is set for Tuesday 13 December 2022 at Ahlul Bait (a.s) Mosque Complex in Ottery, Cape Town from 5.30pm to 9pm under the following theme:
“MORAL FORMATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE AGE OF RELATIVISM”
The program will include presentation of academic papers by following scholars from the Catholic Church as well as the Ahlul Bait Mosque followed by responses from youth representing both communities and an open Q & A session.
